“Sabíamos que a gravidez até ao parto seria um período um pouco assustador e o objetivo sempre foi viver a experiência ao máximo e eu, particularmente, tinha preferência por fazer tudo de forma natural (sem epidural, parto vaginal e no tempo do bebé, i.e., sem indução).
O Hypnobirthing ensinou-me que o nosso bebé SABE, que é também uma pessoa e que aprende. Ensinou-me também que o meu corpo é a casa do nosso bebé e que somos uma equipa..os três.
Daí adveio uma capacidade de atenção maior da nossa parte ao que se ia passando dentro do meu corpo, aos sinais que o bebé dava e, genericamente, maior tranquilidade e menos expectativa: saberíamos como agir na altura do parto porque somos “3 cabeças a pensar” (e 3 cabeças pensam melhor do que uma ou duas!).
As visualizações foram essenciais para não perder o norte, porque o bebé nasceu no período imediatamente pré-pandemia e, de alguma forma, já antevíamos o que aí viria.
Apliquei a respiração (especialmente a fase ascendente) acoplada a todos os gatilhos criados (1,2,3 relaxa foi particularmente útil, ainda hoje, comigo e com o bebé cá fora e é motivo de brincadeira carinhosa que também funciona para relaxar em momentos mais stressantes).
Pessoalmente, foram importantes as deixas sobre a sabedoria da mãe e do seu instinto porque me sentia insegura neste novo papel.

Foi um parto muito feliz, lembro-me de tudo (mesmo dos momentos mais desafiantes – que foram ultrapassados muito graças a técnicas do hypnobirthing – o que é ótimo porque me dão força para outras coisas na vida) e a Maria foi uma das primeiras pessoas de que nos lembrámos e a quem sentimos necessidade de agradecer logo após o parto.
